Welcome to WomanKind Holistic Health

I’m Aimee

I am so pleased you have found me! My name is Aimee Peacock. I am a qualified nurse and midwife, currently practising as an NHS midwife, which I am honoured to call my career.

My business started out offering Hypnobirthing classes, which I now provide in a 1:1 setting. I love teaching Hypnobirthing and delivering real and honest birth preparation to aid a calmer, more confident and empowered birth team.

I then trained in a midwifery capacity to offer complementary therapies for pregnancy and the newly postnatal period, such as aromatherapy massage, reflexology and moxibustion to turn breech babies. I have a keen interest in the biomechanics of birth and aiding an optimal fetal position ready for birth. What the female body can do fascinates me! I have developed many signature treatments, including my well loved ‘Prepare for Birth’ treatment.

Practising holistically ignited a passion within. I was keen to expand my services further into the world of women’s health offering a vital service for local women and I am proud to now offer a number of exciting services including aromatherapeutic body massage, massage for menopause, womb and fertility massage, scar therapy specialising in c section scars, and my newest offering of manual lymphatic drainage, including for pre and post operative cases.

I believe that complementary therapies are there to complement traditional health care, maintaining and enhancing health and wellbeing. I never claim to cure.

When I am not busy being a midwife and running my own business, I am a wife, and mum to 2 amazing boys and 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire and welcome people from all the surrounding areas to my beautiful private studio. I can’t wait to meet you!

*The services at WomanKind Holistic Health are for women only, or people with an ovarian system. Thank you for understanding.

My qualifications

  • I qualified as a nurse in 2008 from The University of York and worked in a variety of settings including urological surgery and respiratory medicine. I converted to midwifery in 2016 with a postgraduate diploma at Teesside University. I love being a midwife and still practice clinically.

  • I trained as a Hypnobirthing teacher in 2020 with Katherine Graves herself, and have since upskilled with Love Your Birth to align with my style and values. I teach Hypnobirthing regularly to expectant parents.

  • I completed a diploma in midwifery complementary therapies with Dr Denise Tiran and Expectancy, the leading international authority in complementary therapies for pregnancy. I work directly under my NMC pin in a midwife capacity when treating pregnant women.

  • I was keen to expand my services outside of pregnancy, therefore I completed a diploma in aromatherapeutic body massage with Penny Price Academy of Aromatherapy, accredited by the IFPA and FHT.

  • My keen interest in women’s health lead me to further training in massage for menopause with Cambridgeshire Wellness Clinic.

  • Adding scar therapy to my list of services was always going to fit perfectly with my other services. I trained with the wonderful Hannah Poulton at HLP Therapy in June 2024.

  • Accredited by the FHT and facilitated in Northern Ireland by Sara Agnew, this 4 day course with assessment and multiple case studies blended the spiritual with physical massage, with an emphasis on womb health, menstrual health and fertility.

  • Trained using both the Vodder technique and the Godoy & Godoy method, this additional service is very much welcomed in supporting those who would benefit from the gentle movement of lymph to support wellness, or promote healing post surgery. Training facilitated in Lancashire and Glasgow, by FHT accredited Gateway Workshops.
